Spartan Nashville 2024

Lionhearts has been in a whirlwind of everything going on coming home from OCR World Championships , A little bit of jet lag straight into classes and then finding a new property. But I’d like to celebrate our friend Bodhi.
Bodhi is a champion. I was very sorry to miss his visit with the Lionhearts Fitness. His family traveled all the way from Texas to Nashville for the Spartan kids race to race with the Lionhearts. Bodie is a very strong young man and a few months ago he became a
Lionheart all the way in Texas as he was championing his biggest obstacle of all, leukemia.
We were honored to welcome Bodhi into the Lionheart family. He is everything we believe we can all be. If we lift one another up and we help each other through these obstacles in life, we can be champions everyday.
His father wasn’t certain that he can make it through the whole Spartan Kids race, but the young man said “I can do it I can do it.” Our team watched him carefully and helped him through every obstacle and he championed it just like he did leukemia and all the treatments he’s had to go through.
May we all be a lot more like Bodhi.
I’m so very proud of the Lionhearts family. They knew our mission, they were our mission, and they shared our mission. Many of the volunteers that are a big part of the core of what we do were out of state doing other things.
What more could anyone ask for? Community serving the community to better our community to better our world.
That’s pretty ding dang cool.
And yes our Lionhearts were also taking the podiums. There is so much more to who we are than the podium .
