SUBHEADING

Who is Jonathon?

Growing up I was very over weight. My confidence, energy, and more were low because of it. When I hit a few growth spurts and started to slim out everything changed. I was more active , my confidence grew, I expressed myself through athletics, I became a completely different person.

I felt great but I found out the hard way that i went to far. I got a stomach bug and because of how little fat I had on my body

I got very sick. Lost 9lbs in 7 days and I looked and felt terrible. I ended up becoming a coach potato for 6 month.

I had a friend reach out to me and little did I know at the time this would be one of the best things that ever happened to me.

He said they have a team doing a Spartan race in a month and wanted me to come. I was a little hesitant but I knew I need to stop feeling and for myself and start training again.

I started working at a kickboxing gym and getting trained myself with kickboxing and jujitsu because I was a second degree black belt in taekwondo.

God made my dream come true.

I started working at a kickboxing gym and getting trained myself with kickboxing and jujitsu because I was a second degree black belt in taekwondo.

God made my dream come true.

He gave me the opportunity to open my gym JAB Kickboxing that I still run today.

If I could work on training my self I wanted to be able to show people the value of working out and living healthy lives.

One of the most valuable things in love that most take for granted is our health and to be able to help people realize that and show them how to get there I know is one of my purposes in life.

I’ve been blessed to see many lives change and have made many friendships along the way. 2022 I was finally healthy enough to compete. Every race except one I was top 5 in my age group. Took multiple podiums. And still got to run with dozens of friends and family.

I know after what I have been through that I can do anything and I won’t let nothing stop me from getting my goals.

I want to be able to compete at the biggest OCR races in the world. Not only compete I’m going to win them, OCRWC, Spartan World Championship, and any other race there is.

I might not be there yet, but with the grace of God, those supporting me, and my determination and drive. I will be there one day!
